You are straight up correct on this! He is gaslightling. Mitch doesn't believe a word of what he is saying when he says "socialism for the rich", and he said it four times in his speech. It's all smoke and mirrors and these guys say what they know is non-nonsensical stuff in order to confuse and distract and elicit a predictable response from the media. Don't think for a second that Mitch is not bought and paid for.
