On December 18, 2020, an executive order was issued titled, “Memorandum on the Attorney General’s Authority to Use Classified Information in Connection with Review of Intelligence Activities.” In short, this gives John Durham the authority to present classified information to a grand jury investigating the Russian collusion hoax. Previous DOJ regulations required the consent of the specific classifying agency. For example, if Durham wants to present evidence that’s classified or sensitive he doesn’t have to go to the FBI and get their permission to present the sensitive material. He gloves are off.
