Back in the day, Trump's attitude and patriotism was very common in NYC - but that was the war and post-war generations and the hard working immigrant communities - everyone was hardcore pro-America and anti-commie (except for to SoHo artsy fartsy zones and the liberal colleges). None of this shit would have been allowed in the past, but those people are gone - moved (like our family), dead (my grandparents) or just too old.
This sounds like a trend that effects more than just NYC. Sadly. The country we know today is cucked. We used to laugh at England. And it's still probably worse there. But we're going through the same shit now they were while we laughed and said that'll never happen here.
