Anyone else in the same situation? I probably gained 30lbs this year and it's all on me.

The great thing is...because it's on me, I have the full power and control to change it!

That's another thing - leftist fatties seem to have everyone else but themselves to blame for their weight and lack of physical fitness.

I may not have a gym open where I live (fucking idiot nanny state) but I've got a home gym set-up and meals prepped for the week.

Easiest thing you can do is only drink water and cut out any sugar. That alone will shed that weight significantly

Closing gyms is another big win for china, they set records selling home fitness stuff.

You dont need a gym or equipment, head into the woods, there’s everything you need right there, and its alot more fun.

Right on. Ive been preaching calories in calories out my whole life. Its really simple, dont ever let yourself get over 5 lbs overweight before you modify your diet or activity level. Its easy to lose 5 pounds, you can do it in a few days.

I dont have any experience losing 30 pounds, but im sure its a bitch. For most overweight people, their problem is they associate food with everything they do.

Try the primal blueprint diet. Cutting out grains, added sugars, and processed foods will make you lose weight even if you didn't exercise. And then you spend your days eating meat, vegetables, nuts, fruit, and healthy whole foods... it's wonderful. I was strict on it for 7 years but kind of weakened up in 2020. Need to get back myself

By posting this you are putting your word on the line. To fail not only means you didn’t complete the task, but it will also make you one who’s word is worthless. Dig deep, push when the motivation is gone, find and display discipline in all things and you will go far. Best of luck to you brother.

I'm with you patriot! I've gained 25-30 pounds since March when all this nonsense started. It's okay time to take back my health!

Even though I'm exercising about an hour daily, I've still gained weight due to less activity than before the China flu. After this weekend, I'm doubling down, eat less, more exercise.

Eat less often but you don’t necessarily have to eat less.

Congratulations!

I did the same thing. Put on a few pounds. Lost them.

Now I'm building my dancer's body again.

This is what helped me the most: I cut out gluten.

Now, I did other things (like kefir), but this really got me past the most recent plateau.

After cutting out gluten, I lost any sugar cravings I used to have.

When I want something sweet, I blend frozen fruit with milk. It's like ice cream! I don't add sugar.

AINT NOTHING TO IT BUT TO DO IT!

I work out regularly and am in pretty good shape. My vice is I drink 6 beers a night like clockwork. I'm cutting that shit out in this new year. Cant wait to see my health improve even further.

A couple years ago did keto, 1 meal per day (big dinner usually), about 20 minutes of HIIT, and 30 minute sauna sessions about 3-4 times per week. Dropped 35 pounds in 4 months or so. Coffee and water throughout day to stop hunger cravings. Make it through first week is the most difficult when setting new habits. After that, it's just routine.

Have put it all back on since then. Time to get back at it.

I’m right there with ya pede. Seems like 2020 was the yo-yo year for me. Gained 30lb, lost 30lb, gained 30lb, now I gotta pull my finger out and get to work on that.

Yes!

Steelflite 3 points ago +3 / -0

I was in my best physical shape while just doing HIIT sessions and basic weights (dumbbells/curl bar), all done at home. Fuck a gym! Become a monster in your own cave!

I found myself in the same situation as you around the beginning of 2020 and knew I had to make a change. I started with push ups and crunches and worked my way up to include dumbbells. I’ve dropped 25 pounds while adding muscle tone in less than a year. Eating healthier was key as well. Keep up the great work, it truly is life changing!

I haven't worked out in a gym in months and I miss it. I've kept myself in shape by intermittent fasting. Basically just means I don't eat breakfast or lunch but have a huge dinner. Then pushups and pullups. Get one of those pullup bars you can hang on a doorframe. I also got some 25 pound dumbells and a 90 lbs kettlebell I use for legs. Finally I do abs 6 days a week. Atlean X on Youtube has a great 7 minute ab workout.

God Bless you man! Make your body an immaculate temple for the soul. Yeah, that's cliché too, lol, but still true. Remembering that helps me resist junk.

Yes, friend. Going on a juice fast for several weeks to get energized and drop that gross fat. Look at Joe Cross's juicing video...it can also help you get off unnecessary meds.
