I mean, ya'll need to keep an eye on Sioux Falls. It's getting filled up with rapefugees. I'd worry about that before you worry about Patriots praising the state.
RC is way better than eastern SD, IMHO. But never forget, there are reservations near RC and they are often Democrat strongholds. I mean, if you want to see how well socialism works, go visit an Indian Reservation. (And yes, dammit, they call themselves indian reservations.... )'
We drove to Sylvan Lake for a week two years ago and went through and into Rapid city a few times. I loved SD, but the wife would never make it through your winters, sadly.
Remember when the rodeo clown wore a mask of 0'bama and got fired for behind a raysis?! Even though he'd done the same thing over his 20+ year career with Bush jr, Kkklinton, Bush sr AND Reagan...
What’s it like living in Rapid City? How cold does it get in the winter? Good place to raise a family?
My wife and I are planning to move hopefully this year and Rapid City is on my list but my wife thinks it will be too cold for her taste and maybe too “remote”.
Any Rapid City pedes who can tell me what it’s like?
I grew up on the air force base there and I can confidently say Rapid City and surrounding area is the best place to raise a family. So many free/cheap things for families to do. Look up Story Book Island, Dinosaur Hill, and all of the Black Hill's attractions.
Yeah the winters can be tough, but a lot of times Rapid is warmer than where I'm at in Georgia. I miss the Black Hill's, but thankful I get to visit often since that's where my family still lives. I'll be back someday. So, in conclusion yes it's awesome for families and to move to.
Cold is relative. Fargo here and Rapid City would be an oasis in the winter for us. Sadly Fargo is a leftist dream. If we move it will be to a remote location. The more people and the as buildings are built taller it seems to bring the crazies out in full force.
Lived there 9 years, but that's been awhile back. Plenty to do but if by 'remote' you mean away from large cities, it is that. Great restaurants of all kinds due to the tourism. Roamed the Black Hills in my '46 CJ2A. When the tourists would come I'd just head in to the northern hills and logging roads. I was bummed to see Deadwood turn into a gambling town.
But the winters, and the wind. I can't go back as I'm older and it was hard on my breathing back then. The cold, the dryness, and all the woodburning fireplaces.
Snow that falls in November will be there until March. Wind starts to really blow in mid October and keeps it up until March. I mean, it's not constant but damn it wears on you.
What great restaurants? I know people hate big cities here but they have shit for restauruants in Rapid City compared to ANY big city. Their grocery stores are a joke as well. They have one decent grocery store, the rest are empty of the essentials half the time.
Rapid is in the "Banana belt" of south dakota. That means that it ONLY gets down to about -50F when the rest of the state is about -80F. It's coooooold. The people are good people. Don't say much. But if your home or barn gets destroyed by weather or fire, they'll purty much chip in and help you rebuild. Most people have snow equipment of some sort or another. To play on, to blow snow, to plow it, whatever you need. City slickers don't last long. Winters are long and if the wind kicks up you'll suddenly realize what "Wind Chill Factor" means.
On the plus side, you can often see the Northern Lights from RC and surrounding area. You have Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse carvings, which must be seen to be appreciated. You also have all those crazy fuckers coming through for Sturgis Bike Week. Great fishing in that area, great pheasant hunting, nothing like a fresh fire in the fireplace on a cold night -- way better if you have your sweetheart with you.
PSA - don't bring your Chihuahua or other squeak-toy-dog. They'll get lost in the snowdrifts. Summers are nice. All 5 weeks of them. Lots of mosquitoes though.
Rapid City has been described to me as "Poverty with a view" because there are a lot of poor folk in the area. I've never lived there but have visited it on occasion and it seemed like a pretty neat place to live aside from how it was described to me.
As far as winter goes, it does get cold. Usually there are at least a couple weeks of -20 or -30 temps in late January/February but for the most part it stays in the lower teens to twenties from what I have seen.
No - IIRC - Trump 2020 is the name of the Bull. 522 is the number of points that particular bull has won from the judges. Both the riders and the bulls are judged in Bullriding. If the Bull is underperforming that night, they might allow re-rides.
Cowboy walks into the blacksmiths shop, picks up a horseshoe and quickly puts it back down. The blacksmith, with a smirk on his face says what’s the matter, is that horseshoe a little too hot for you? Cowboy says “ nope, it just doesn’t take me long to look at a horseshoe.”
I tried to teach my pet rat to ride a pitbull. A belt and a pillow...off to the races! The pitbull always won on the loong hall way sprint. But the rat excelled at jumping hurdles and stuck like glue...till the end of every ride.
there has to be a moral in there somewhere to compliment the bulls... 522?
Pet rats are vastly underrated. I used to have 17 of them. Smartest little motherfuckers on the planet. I would love to have seen a rat riding a pitbull =)
Rats are soo smart, loving and gentle. I have no idea why I brought it up... I think I was thinking about sheep and herd behavior before I saw the bull names but fell short in trying to make it fit. lol
They were good friends. The rat liked to play tag and would run out from under the couch to grab a whisker. I think she wanted to clean the dog's teeth but that was a bit too far for the dog's control. A nose lick was acceptable though. The jumping was hilarious.
<sigh> it's literally impossible to get a libtard poser to think about anything beside his own dick or to understand the difference between cue, queue, and Q. Guess that's why we call em libtards.
The top four names describe what’s going to be happening in the next following days.
Or is currently happening: Trump 2020 was the election Hostile Witness is the hearings Were in Spyglass now War Zone on the 6tb
What's it like living in a world where you think stuff is actually going to happen? Maybe there's an alternate universe where shit gets done, but we aren't living in that one
Stuff has already happened. He's done more in 4 years than any president in history. Now he has told you when the next thing will happen - 1/6

Fucking SPICY kek!
So much WINNING!
damn ibrt..... you have some serious prophetic interpretation skills !!
Landslide bitches
Dominion would like to 'review' these scores.
Look at the other names Hostile Witness, spyglass, warzone.
Surprised there isn’t “black bulls matter”
Ladies prison tho, he would enjoy the men's prison too much.
Cucks love that one
Lol, gotem
Noticed. 😁
Bet on black last spot.
Rassssssissced
Name the 5 greatest Bull riders alive.
"You're too close man!"
Clayton “Bigsby” Savage would like a word.
Cuz they spit hot fire man!
CIA has got him pushing too many pencils.
We need more songs about South Dakota.
I mean, ya'll need to keep an eye on Sioux Falls. It's getting filled up with rapefugees. I'd worry about that before you worry about Patriots praising the state.
Doesn't help that Noem is pro-"refugee" and opted into the program to accept them. It also doesn't help that they border Somalia.
That needs to end. I've got relatives in Sioux Falls and certain neighborhoods have now gotten really dangerous because of the rapefugees.
Humid on the east side of the state maybe.
It’s absolutely aweful. It’s 47 and sunny right now, which is amazingly warm for this time of year
RC is way better than eastern SD, IMHO. But never forget, there are reservations near RC and they are often Democrat strongholds. I mean, if you want to see how well socialism works, go visit an Indian Reservation. (And yes, dammit, they call themselves indian reservations.... )'
Happy to see the lefty wokeness hasn't made it to rodeo. Keep far away from that shit and ride on!
We drove to Sylvan Lake for a week two years ago and went through and into Rapid city a few times. I loved SD, but the wife would never make it through your winters, sadly.
Beautiful Sylvan Lake area. Use to winter camp there after they'd shut the Needles Highway down just for snowmobiles.
Needles was cool

Lot of indians there. It's not all great. Story book island lol

Username checks out.
I thought being we have winter 9 months I better embrace it 😂. But this winter has been wonderful. I can’t complain.
Haha, yeah. You are right about Fargo, too. It dreams of being Minneapolis for whatever reason and goes out of its way to try and be it.

Then go to a shit-hole big city. What a pretentious ass.
Because I think there are no good restaurants there? You’re dumb
Ah, hello Dunning-Kruger poster child. Or, as I always called it... "too stupid to know you're stupid."

Imagine Trump on the back of a raging bull WOOOOOOO THATS MY PRESIDENT
This should be meme'd into existence...

I remember the rodeo clown in Obama mask got cancelled years ago. So unfair.
What a load of bull... riding
At the risk of getting doxxed, 522 is my birthday an MC are my initials.

Already planned a week vacation seeing all things South Dakota this coming July.
PBR Rodeo season was a fun time to look forward too, that is until democratic governors fucked all that up.
This one is a no-nonsense sign, for sure !
Our Trump defeated that other bull Rosie O’Donnell.

I chuckled... but then I told my kid and all I got was a blank stare. It's okay though because that also made me chuckle.
Winning
Love it
lol, I approve!
The Wyoming names crack me up.
Based af!!!!
Awesome! I’m looking to visit Rapid City this spring! Glad to see it’s based.
Hot dang !
Happy New Year, Everyone!!!
random fact:
I tried to teach my pet rat to ride a pitbull. A belt and a pillow...off to the races! The pitbull always won on the loong hall way sprint. But the rat excelled at jumping hurdles and stuck like glue...till the end of every ride.

I found this. Not a pitbull but it looked about the same and you'll see why I came up with the 'saddle' idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mon7ZkNa9hU
It's definitely a sign!!!!
MAGA Bull!
If that isn't a sign I dont know what is
Another SD pede?! Woohoo!
God works in mysterious ways
Those are the most masculine names I've ever seen. If they're real names then hats off to their parents.
In southern states, men ride the bull. In california, the bull rides their wives
Based bulls
That settles it.
Hahaha that is great!
Oooo snap all them bulls names together definitely a good sign!!!!! <3 MAGA2021
Damn didnt see Rooster Reynolds in there anywheres! No boys from Dillon Mt! Daum
This is truly beautiful!
Saw this in the morning, but wasn't sure to ask then. Civic Center, or Fair Grounds?
It was at the fairgrounds.
Can't help but notice 'Bet On Black" came in last! lol
Qtards start furiously jacking off - “Yes!! The bull riding part is happening right on queue!!”
<sigh> it's literally impossible to get a libtard poser to think about anything beside his own dick or to understand the difference between cue, queue, and Q. Guess that's why we call em libtards.
Spoiler: it means nothing.
Hey is B.J's Grinder King still in town?
And from SD. A true patriot. Wonder if in minecraft if he can bring a bull to DC and accidentally let it in the congress building.
That's interesting considering Lower Brule is Indian Country.
