I have personal connections to the main GOP leadership in that state as well as some of the main guys that bankroll it. They’re working on a primary plan. Basically sasse won because he went around to all the churches being like “LOOK HOW PROLIFE I AM”. No one questioned his other stances heavily, I mean it’s central and western Nebraska they send a certain type of politician typically. Then they got this fucking turncoat. I talked to someone who got tapped to primary him, would win in a second but doesn’t want to because he just retired. Trying to find a good candidate.
I am born and raised in Nebraska, I have called that fuck a douchebag to his face. Would love to throw down with him. If they can find a way to primary his ass, I am all in ready to collect signatures.
Nebraska politics is tough because people there are typically nice and polite no matter what. I think the time for that is over. I haven’t lived there in a long time, plan to move back very soon though. Plan on getting back into politics from an organizational standpoint, tons of family connections throughout the state.
I sent Deb Fischer a 7 page document explaining the history of the Ukraine and their support for Nazis during WWII and their present ultra-nationalist Nazi situation (Trident), and why the US should not be giving them money or weapons. All my evidence was based on historical fact and current situation on the ground (I have contacts in the Ukraine, friends from my time in Germany). She called me a conspiracy theorist and a wacko-bird. I am an ex-military intelligence analyst, think I know what the hell I am doing. Adrian Smith and the others need to go. I am pretty sure the Biden electoral vote was fraud, they were using ES&S machines.
Yup. Agreed 100%. Nebraskan politicians overall tend to be pretty nice but overall clueless. I feel like they get conditioned by the place they live that everyone has good intentions and everything is hunky dory. Not the case if you’re a federal level politician these days. You need to be an angry lion.
