Apparently just saw the stimulus dropped, married, and I got $1200 instead of $600. So does that mean we each get $1200 for being married or did they lump my wife's half in with mine and just send to my bank account? Thought each individual gets $600 separately
It's $1200 for married couples. Don't spend it all in one place.
lol no probably going to fix my wife's car if anything. Not that I was asking for it but I thought even married filing jointly got separate checks.
Think about investing too. Many good options. 1,200 invested in bitcoin in March of last year is worth $6,000 today. Silver $1,200 is now $2,400.
Maybe we can print money to infiniti and maybe we cannot. I am not an economist and this is not economic advice. However when rich people get scared, and the US has 75,000 millionaires, they look to put the money they can not spend into things that will retain their value. Clearly this is not the American dollar. Maybe these modes of storing wealth have maxed out until the next crisis happens (is this one even over yet?). Or maybe the government will continue to print a trillion dollars a week and liquify the markets, providing the capital needed to pump the stock market up. Clearly we are making up the rules as we go and disregarding them when they are inconvenient. When there isn't enough food everyone will discover we can not eat money.

It’s awarded according to your 2019 tax return. If your status was married then it’s $1200 total.
I have four kids but one was born in April so I didn’t get the $600 for her.
If you file joint and get a return/pay out of a single account, it goes in one lump sum to that account
If you filed electronically and paid or were refunded that way they are sending your money back that way!
