Please correct me where I'm wrong
Many are posting about the house objections. This is great but the demonrats have done this to the last 3 republican presidents. All this does is allow a 30 minute debate session where the maxine waters of the world stood up and told everyone how mad they were.......then we had the president they objected anyway.
With a senator on board this ups the ante to a 2 hour debate in each of the house and senate. Definitely a positive moment but without more meat this just means more time for grandstanding.
At the end of the debates the house and senate will both vote AGAIN. The only way results are corrected from the cheating is if both the senate AND the house vote to do so.
The senate should happen, but unless something changes how does Trump win the house?

The 2 hour debate windows would be the ideal time to release EVERYTHING....enough to sway the demonrats serving for red areas who realize the doors are closing in

It will be the new house with a very slim DEMON majority. Since they're so scared of wuflu I expect a few house members to be unable to attend due to chinavirus could push the house to have a republican majority that day *I am assuming congress must be PRESENT to vote on this similar to the speaker position's voting rules.
Otherwise it's going to be 2 hours of yelling, then the steal is complete.
For the best and accurate procedures on January 6, watch yesterday's War Room. Steve Bannon had former Trump Cabinet Member, Bill McGinley to explain it. Mcginley's Twitter is @wjmcginley
excellent thank you, this is what I was trying to find
This is correct, you need one representative and one senator to contest. However, they can contest each elector from each state, not the state itself. Following this, I would presume there would be many hours of yelling, back and forth, accusations, etc. During this time, I would also presume that Trump’s team will present some new “specific evidence” as they said.
I think the evidence that will be presented will simply be for public opinion unless it’s extremely damning. For a state to be officially thrown out, both the House and Senate have to agree with a majority vote, which is very unlikely as of now.
However, this is all under the assumption that Pence does certify the vote and doesn’t contest anything.
thank you, think we're understanding the same way
This is all unprecedented so nobody really knows. I'm under the impression that individual states can reject their electors.
So basically the focus is on states in the hopes of dropping Biden below 270.
Like I said, nobody really knows how this can play out. But from what I understand the goal is get specific states to not certify their electors and choose new ones.
It's the "vote" that is at the tip of the spear at this moment... the only type of vote described for the vote counting/approval process in the 12A is a contingent vote not a floor "majority" vote, this is the strategy being pushed right now...
votes gets contested, contingent vote in house and floor vote in senate gives a split
since both houses can't agree then house votes for GEOTUS based on a contingent vote, senate votes for Pence based on a floor majority vote
Pede protest rally turns into a celebration
I'd be ok with that, but if that happens, buckle up......it's going to be wild!
