Because the president is a federal office selected by all states. House reps are selected by a state. It's up to the state to deal with it. Of course if there is evidence at a federal level election it does violate federal election law but it's different than the office of the presidency.

I'm willing to believe 2018 was a legit victory for house dems simply because it follows the normal, longstanding pattern for voters. Moderates always want a purple government, as the gridlock is a feature, not a bug. Only when one party is OVERWHELMINGLY unpopular does that change (see: 2006-2008, when the republicans got stomped due to W's unpopularity). If anything, I find the dem's successes in 2020 to be suspect, and the red tide should have been larger. The dems have been HATED this year. And we know they stole one or two senate seats that should have gone red or flipped red in MO and PA.
I'm also sure they stole governor seats, because there is a 0% chance that Washington's Governor Inslee defeated Loren Culp by the percentage he did. He almost certainly lost. When the polls closed, I'm saying the instant they closed, the New York Times reported 80% ballots counted, with every single state wide vote done - including the pedo teaching bill and the governor race. Every other election map waited hours to reveal the results, but they were the same results NYT got immediately.
