I have the funds to move. I have been looking around Texas for a place to settle and I am thinking on the outskirts of Austin (100 miles in any direction) as it closely resembles (geographically) where I currently live (that’s for the wife) to be honest I hate mowing lawns but, if it helps her feel at home... ...

I don’t see an issue finding work at all as I have a great resume in industrial manufacturing positions. I have the money for a house to buy. But would first like to rent a home while we find work so we can then purchase a home or possibly purchase the home we rent from you. ....

Anybody on the outskirts of Austin that would be willing to hear us out that has property we can rent shoot me a message and let’s get to know each other. I plan to make this move at the end of August this year. Plenty of time to get to know me and my family.

Much appreciated,

-TheBasedZodiac

Edit: I only want to do business and trade money with other country loving patriots. This is why I am reaching out here.

We live in North Texas. Stay away from Austin.

Temple Texas seems really nice.

Don’t move to Austin or anywhere in Travis county. Austin proper is turning into San Fran West. I’d look to the north, Round Rock or Georgetown, or Northwest toward Cedar Park or Leander (more Texas Hill Country feel). All nice areas close enough to the city to use your credentials.

I’ve done the research I know where I am choosing and why. I’m not moving to Austin. I’m moving somewhere as far as an hour away from Austin. The suburbs of Austin and San Antonio are where I’d like to be. Because of the cost of living and amount of jobs in my fields.

I wish you much success. Whenever I hear Austin now, I think of Joe Rogan, who moved there to escape California’s lockdowns only to be locked down in Austin. I used to go there all the time for SXSW. Little did I know that California was infiltrating Texas. Good food tho! Tex-Mex is delicious.

I don’t want to live in Austin. I want to live outside of Austin. About an hour from there in any direction would suit.

What lockdown in Austin??

The one the Governor just over ruled. Will the Mayor listen?

Most of the "lockdown" orders in Austin don't have any teeth. If you read the covid restrictions, they're recommendations.

We had a pretty normal NYE last night here with zero issues.

I’m in the PNW. The is hilarious because tons of my friends and family have already made the move to TX. Sounds like they need more Trump supporters not less.

Trump did better with the minority vote this year than any Republican. He did worse with the white male vote lol

His real weakness was in the fraudulent vote, though.

Austin is a liberal shithole

TheBasedZodiac [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not as big as a liberal shit hole as where I currently live.

Well don’t move to Austin if you want to get away from those asshole. If it is a college town, to a musicians town, it is a communist shithole with pretty lights

I don’t want to live in Austin. Austin is just the largest city in the climate of Texas I want to live in.
