I saw Lin’s fireside chat video, it was long, almost an hour. I couldn’t put my finger on something odd about his mannerisms, I attributed it to him being a trial lawyer, but the last 3-4 minutes turned me off, he went full blown TV evangelical preacher.
I watched it, too. I thought the whole thing was excellent. In the Bible, in the book of Acts, the apostles are elated to be mocked for their faith in Jesus Christ. I think Lin feels the same way. I'm sorry you find proud faith in Jesus Christ to be something negative. You might want to pray about that.
In some cases try to rattle those in DC to fix this. With the street violence, showing up at homes, vandalism, leftists make the case to just look the other way and DC figures shop won't get busted up. Intimidation tactics. Right hasn't had the same insane pressure tactics. Seems like Lin Wood is blustering to raise the stakes to damned if you do damned if you don't, so may as well follow justice.

Admittedly, he has also made some claims and implied some things without providing us the evidence for whatever reason. I don't have blind faith in him or against him. But he is in a position to know certain things. He has access to Sidney Powell and has worked with her on much of this. He also has many other contacts, and it is not unreasonable that perhaps he cannot share some reasons that he has. The other thing is that I think Lin is often "thinking out loud". He means, "Maybe it is like this" and some people are misconstruing that (deliberately or otherwise) as, "it is ABSOLUTELY like this!"
I think we often worry too much about optics. Our First Amendment is about a free and open marketplace of ideas. We should all be confident about discussing our thoughts, especially when they might sound pretty out there or even crazy. Trying to pretend any of us is infallible is nothing short of hubris. I don't know if you're particularly religious -- if not, take it as ancient wisdom -- but the Bible repeatedly makes the point that "God hates a haughty face" and "pride cometh before a fall", etc. It is important that we all acknowledge our shortcomings and that all we can do is our best. If we feel strongly about something, we should share it confidently. If we are wrong, yes, it can be embarrassing, but we learn and grow. Lin is responsible for Lin's thoughts and statements. It isn't fair or right for anyone to assume anything about others based on what Lin says/does. But let the man have his voice. Those who disagree should do so with reason and compassion. We're all on this ride together, and not everything is perfectly binary. There are some gray areas.
To me, I like Lin, and I'm sure that influences my take on him. I just enjoy hearing him speak and find his presence entertaining (in a good way). I don't know if his every hypothesis or claim is true, but I haven't caught him out in any lies so far. I believe his heart is in the right place until I see indications to the contrary. So I try to read him charitably until he gives me reason to do otherwise.
In conclusion, I have been pretty far down a lot of rabbit holes in researching how things work in the world and how they have worked. To me, nothing simply looks crazy on the surface at this point. There is a lot that I know seems crazy to the uninitiated that is completely true. I also know that much that seems crazy on the surface cannot be conclusively dismissed on deeper analysis. Frustratingly, many of these things cannot be decided with certainty given available information. Thus there is a lot that ends up in the category of, "I don't know; perhaps it is true". So I have learned not to assume that people who sound crazy are crazy. I think maybe they just know things that I have not yet learned. In these cases, I try to employ the scientific method, as it is the best tool mankind has discovered for dealing with such things. I hope Lin is legit and not crazy. I also hope he is mistaken about some things, like Pence. But I will have to wait and see how everything shakes out, because with regard to much of it, I just do not know.
