I am so frustrated! I've tried babysitters, mother-in-law, uncle, friend's mom (all in state); my liberal aunt in NC; aunt, friend and another friend from TX (to GA) with offers to pay for their flights. No one can watch my two kids (under 4 yrs.) on the 5-7th. And there's no one left whom I trust with my kids for 3 days. I left nothing on the table, especially when asking my NC aunt.
I'm sending my husband and father-in-law to DC without me. I will be there in spirit and will continue to write and call our corrupt Governor and Republican leadership in GA to stopthesteal.us
I feel like I am going to miss a world changing moment. I'll be there January 20th for Trump's inauguration though!

Please don't feel guilty for not being able to come... life happens, and you have a responsibility to your family! Hopefully there'll be lots of live streams, I'll be running around with my camera and will try to post pictures here after it's all said and done, too. Just think of it this way: I can go on the 6th, but not the 20th. You can go on the 20th, even though you can't on the 6th!
