I read it as he was trying to get paid by Wikileaks. This lines up with some stuff I read a while back about his brother trying to get paid for it too. Also a good reason his brother acted so funny and parents aren't actively trying to find Seth's murderer.
I'm reading it as Bryne suggesting that the primary reason Seth was eliminated was due to Seth having knowledge (he was working for the DNC IT) of how the Democrat nomination was stolen from Bernie to bestow on Hilldabeast via the use of the Dominion software system to algorithmicly alter the election outcomes
That Attorney Sydney Powell mentions this in her list of things per her elevator pitch she would make to the Supreme Court lends credence that that is how they stole it from Bernie
That Seth Rich became aware of this doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility either given the job he was doing for the DNC during those primary months
