In HS I knew a girl who wanted to be a cop. I spent a day once giving he shit for it and asking why would you want to do that (because she didn't seem the type)?
She says, "Think about it Tendie! YOU CAN DRIVE AS FAST AS YOU WANT." That was literally her reason for wanting to be a cop.
I worked with a guy that would eventually pass the NYS trooper exam and get a slot. He was a whiny little weasel of a manchild that everyone hated. A real mommas boy poof. I can just see in my head the little power trips he must get on pulling people over. Nobody ever respected him. He’ll be a terrible cop.
I've had three experiences as an adult. First guy wanted me to bow my head and say I'd be a good little boy for defending myself in a knife fight someone else instigated. Second threatened to shoot me because I couldn't open a broken car door. Third got mad when I called him out for a stolen bike. Went "who cares!? You brought me here for that??"
