It's likely that an originalist SCOTUS would side with Pence, as its very clear in the constitution.

LOL, SCOTUS isnt siding with the consitution. As soon as they hear the Uniparty is in trouble they'll take up their case in a heartbeat and rule 7-2 or even 9-0 against Pence.

Nope. The VP role in the EC is considered "non-judiciable" meaning it cannot be appealed. They can't and wont get involved. If Pence were to walk in and say, "The votes from contested states are all fraudulent so I'm giving them to Trump and declaring him the winner" the recourse that Congress has is to impeach them both. And that is exactly what SCOTUS will say. They dont want to decide who the President is.
