The DC police have likely been instructed to do the same thing so everyone who goes needs to be aware of where you are, where antifa/blm is, where the march is going and where police WILL try to detour it to.
Remember to get the names and badge numbers of any and all officers who attempt to detour the march.
This is absolute truth, I was there. The police created a bottleneck and forced the protesters through it and down into a waiting mob.
Don’t forget two troopers were killed when VSP2 went down in what appeared to be a hit.
I haven't! Those guys were in the only chopper that I noticed and it circled and circled the whole time, filming everything. Doing their job. They headed out to Boar's Head, where the Gov was hanging out (why, you might ask? Don't know) for no apparent reason and they might as well have vanished into thin air or never even existed. Take this FWIW. I am a DC local and have friends on MPD. About 4 outta 10 beat cops are pro-Trump. They have to keep it quiet for obvious reasons. Many of them are at the point where they will not interfere w lawful actions. They also recognize that there will be armed civilians in DC and are not going to intervene. That said, police management is not friendly and they will interfere. Just recognize that fact that not all cops are bad.
All leave has been canceled for MPD. There are no standing orders (at this moment) that could cause a C’ville-like scenario.
I will be making a post on Monday w the latest ground intel I can collect.
