Can someone tell me what's going on with this? I saw rumors about Pence betraying Trump a couple weeks ago, but my partner is watching the news (I know) and they're talking about how the VP is trying to stop Trump. This is just media being shit and not true, right?

Gohmert bought a lawsuit to allow Pence get the sole authority to accept or reject EC votes on Jan 6th. The case is scheduled to a judge appointed by Tump. Pence is teaming up with Pelosi and urging the judge to toss the case
