As long as they are the one committing it, absolutely they can be removed.
Of course they can be removed from office if they are convicted of a felony, etc.

It’s really too bad that US Reps And Senators can’t be voter recalled. Fortunately for US Reps the term is only 2 years. They can be easily removed in the next primary.
