It'll be interesting to see how hospitals try to get around this to continue scamming insurance companies. That's why everything is marked up the way that it is. It's a cat and mouse game of hospitals overcharging because they know insurance will never pay the full amount and insurance companies cross checking prices they've been charged and dropping the amount they're willing to pay accordingly.

This will help people that are paying out of pocket, but it's going to be interesting to see the fallout from the nonsense games that were being played between the other parties.
