That's what socialized medicine does. To make up costs, hospitals will force doctors to see more and more patients and spend less and less time with them. More patients for less pay. Doctors are already putting in 15 hour days.
Being a doctor isn’t about the money, it’s the service of saving lives that should be the primary reason for being a doctor. Today’s doctor is like our current politicians doing the bidding of lobbyists like they do for the pharmaceutical companies.
How many engineers, lawyers, doctors, etc. do you know that go into higher education, and do not factor in their potential salaries against the huge student debt they have to incur?
