Additionally, is is true that each state in the House gets one vote? How is the vote by state decided, and are we sure it isn't a majority vote?

If it were to get to the house vote, each state gets one vote, and the vote is based on party. R's have more states represented than D's. That scenario would be a win for Trump. The problem is getting to that point.
51 Senators needed (majority). The House also votes by majority, not by state delegation. State delegation is only if there aren’t enough EC votes for president
So basically the objection will accomplish nothing in the Senate because we know we won't get 51 votes. What about Pence's role, assuming he will exercise his authority?
