The police were wrong in this case. The entire video should have been watched to see the manager was lying. or at least get to the truth. Then they would have had the facts. But that's me.
I was a cop for a long time. I sometimes bristle at the generalizations about police, like many of those I see here in TDW. But then I see morons like this, and I have to concede that the way we did business isn't universal.
This would have been a 5-minute contact for me. Some of the analysis in the video is a bit overblown, but I agree with the general conclusion. As far as I can tell, everyone involved here was a douchenozzle, but the cops should have exercised some professional judgment.
