My family (2 grandchildren and I) would like to "adopt" someone going to DC. We wish we were going, so we'd like to help someone who. We can participate by offering a little support - maybe we can buy you a meal along the way or look for hotels or other things when cell service gets spotty. Everyone needs someone cheering them on! You could text now and then and the kids can continue to learn about and participate in this once-in-a-lifetime event. They are 8 and 9.

I’ve got my flight and hostel booked. I could use a taxi from the airport to the hostel. Supposedly hostel is walking distance to everything.
I'll be going through Baltimore on my way in on the 5th at around 3pm if that helps... unless you're user name is legit, don't need the lady pede getting the wrong idea.
Don't use a taxi, use a driver app like Lyft or Uber. It'll save you money, time, and get you a driver that is assigned to you, rather than sit in a line of people waiting at the taxi stand.
If the airport gives you any crap just have the driver meet you at the departure gate. That is what I used to do at O'Hare when they were on the warpath against anyone using Uber/Lyft to leave the airport.
Maybe things have changed as that was a few years ago. But that move used to save me a ton of time.
