I use duckduckgo browser and it works phenomenally well. Both are solid.

I use Firefox since it's open source and has many customized forks (including tor browser).

You should read about Javascript creator and how he was CEO of Firefox. He had to leave his position for having conservative ideals. He went off to creator Brave browser instead. Basically, Firefox is a liberal hive.

That's one reason why I mentioned it's customizable with many forks that enforce privacy. A couple years ago, Firefox was under attack for having an agreement with Soros. Also, I used to use brave for mobile however it doesn't block ads nor trackers as effectively as Firefox with ublock origin.

From a political viewpoint, ads and trackers disproportionately give money to liberal companies. My customized Firefox gives nothing except the most basic fingerprint. Additionally, i use tor (a fork of Firefox) when additional security is needed. Brave doesn't compare.
