My question is why do people say you are advocating violence by saying to show up armed on the sixth. If we show up with only our dicks in our hands we can do nothing and our being there will mean nothing. We must show up in the millions and armed to make a statement that will resonate. Just a flag waving bunch of people doesn't get anyone's attention. If millions show up with guns the media will go crazy and the world will see it. If you hold a rally, it will only get a blurb. We must literally shake the very foundations of power or it will be just another Trump rally.

I hope it does not come to violence, but, sadly, in this life, sometimes one has no choice but to be violent. That's why we have military, police, the Second Amendment, Justifiable Homicide, etc. We cannot lose our rights, and we cannot lose our freedoms.

As far as going armed, I have never understood why it was ever tolerated to infringe on the Second Amendment. We clearly have a right to go armed most any time. There may be some small exceptions like when entering private property and security is being provided or on an airplane where a negligent discharge could depressurize the plane. Even then, however, if you reasonably don't trust the security but you have to be there (like to buy groceries), I think the Second Amendment would still apply. On a plane, frangible munitions could be required reasonably.

Yeah, agreed, but it's also true that January 6 is the whole ballgame for Trump. The state legislatures aren't going to do a 180 in the next two business days. Neither are the courts or the DOJ, or the Congress, or the Army. And now it looks like Pence is bailing too, from the court papers in the Gohmert lawsuit. So it's just the people in DC. And it's hard to see how the certification can be stopped now without kinetic measures.
