I have read so many things and comments and I am still not 100% sure I know how the process works since I’ve read many conflicting things. Does anyone feel like they have a really good grasp on how this is likely to go down and want to share? Some are saying Pence can (will he?) object to the votes coming from fraud states, and then it goes to a House vote (1 vote per state). This is what I was hearing initially a month or so ago. Now Gohmert is suing Pence and people are saying it will go to 2 hours of debate and both House & Senate have to vote. Still seeking some clarity and would appreciate help.

So Pence can dispute votes and if a senator and rep agree they have to debate for two hours then vote. If both sides say yes the Governor's votes are tossed or replaced if alternate electors (our guys) are available.

If there is a dispute then the Governor's votes stand unless they have been decertified (losing Safe Harbor).

Thats the basics.

If neither candidate has 270 votes then the house votes with one vote per state.

Thats the basics. Corrections are welcome.
