Alan Dulles was the spymaster and John Foster Dulles was the Sec of State under Eisenhower. That is where it got in deep. Both of these guys were at the meetings for the Treaty of Versailles with Jon Maynard Keynes and Felix Frankfuter - that's when the progressive movement took over. These guys were the lawyer and operator for the United Fruit Company that economically raped Central America - the origin of "banana republic." The only thing that kept them from being in total control from the twenties was Calvin Coolidge's honor then Roosevelt hated them for being Republicans. When Eisenhower got in he turned foreign affairs over to these two and went and played golf. They assassinated three or four south american leaders, Mossadegh in Iran, and left Kennedy with the Bay of Pigs and Vietnam! Book "The Brothers" by Steven Kinzer.
