So one surefire way to deal with them is having a way to view the area through a video camera while fully covering your eyes from the outside world, I'm not sure the best practical way to do this but for example if you can wear a camera of some sort on your head and then view it on your phone you could effectively completely cover up your face from the outside world while still viewing the area around you to figure out where it's coming from.

Ya, a good wide nm spectrum pair would be best. Mine are dark red tinted and tough to see much else when not using a laser.
What is nm spectrum?
Can I find these locally?
400nm through 600nm covers the readily available pointers on the market. https://www.laserpointersafety.com/laserglasses/laserglasses.html
