For me I think he grew out of touch from living over seas. He saw nothing wrong with Biden being president. Essentially he said "things will be a little tougher and people will have to tighter their belts a bit, but its not the end of the world. Our country and our democracy will still be here". And in like....dude, no it won't. This country is beyond fucked. And others shared my sentiment in the comments on his videos.
