Being in the GOP always has felt like being on the Washington Generals basketball team.

NECC_EOD 35 points ago +35 / -0

That's on purpose, they toss us a weak layup score two points and then say, "we'll at least we gave you this, at least you get something" then let the Dems push 98% of their agenda...They are splintering though, you see this rather clearly now that almost all of the GOP house is contesting, if the numbers are true it's sitting at 125 and Likely more.. That's clearly a revolt in the GOP, now that Hawley has agreed it's the first time in American history a sitting senator has disputed the certification of a presidential election.. Mitch is now caught between a rock and a fucking hard place, if Trump is able to present solid and easily digestible evidence it puts the entire GOP in a losing position if they choose to ignore it.. It may leave Mitch with no other recourse than to dispute as well...

Wouldn’t other senators be objecting too, like Ted Cruz?

12
MakeALaskaGreatAgain 12 points ago +12 / -0

Ted cruz and about 6 others are objecting as of this morning. See the sticky for more.

That's just not accurate about Hawley being first, but that's not a bad thing. It's been done before, there is precedent.

The Tea Party died because it had no leader to hold people accountable. The Patriot Party will be led by Trump. All who cross its path will be in for a scorched earth campaign!

And it also had shills like Adam Kinzinger use it to fool conservatives into voting for them, then once in power they quickly turn RINO.

NECC_EOD 20 points ago +20 / -0

Deeper than this, the Tea Party was never going to be a true game changer...Sure it gathered some of the true politically motivated, it never held the cultural saturation that MAGA has.. Think about it like this, right now people are wearing MAGA hats as they protest Lockdowns in the UK, as they protest the CCP making moves to secure Hong Kong..People waiving Trump flags in Paris to protest against corruption and Macron, Pro Skaters are putting Trump graphics on their boards to just be rebels and trigger idiots.. MAGA has become a cultural symbol, a symbol against the corruption and elitist moved not just within politics but also in culture as well...This is something that would never have happened with some older people sitting in lawn chairs waiving flags..

I see the tea party as the precursor movement.

2
theeyeshaveit 2 points ago +2 / -0

The TEA Party formed under the presidency of Barrack Hussein Obama. Who do you think ushered in the outsider, Donald J Trump???

Come on man. Stop thinking you are the center of the universe and give those before you some credit.

1
2016TrumpMAGA 1 point ago +1 / -0

it never held the cultural saturation that MAGA has

You must have missed 2009 to 2011. In the 2010 election Rs picked up 6 Senate seats and 63 House seats.

11
tholins 11 points ago +11 / -0

The Tea Party died because both parties made substantial efforts to kill it.

5
thesummerwind 5 points ago +5 / -0

The tea party never really died. It evolved into this movement. A lot of Trump's strongest allies come from the tea party wing.

This is one of many reasons I am hopeful for the future. The corruption has been exposed. Too many people recognize it and will fight to fix it.

It took decades to get to this point, because the enemy within had to be subtle.

The champions of the Republic have no use for subtlety. This can be fixed.

JohnStark 16 points ago +16 / -0

Most GOP and SocialDems are bought, paid for and compromised in some fashion or another. Make ready the gallows.

5
NECC_EOD 5 points ago +5 / -0

Dude, when a fucking WAPO poll shows that 52% of Americans think Biden's presidential win was not legitimate...That should scare the shit out of the Dems and the GOP who refuse to admit this was stolen..When a liberal poll shows that, imagine that the real number is likely 10 points higher...

21
Double_D 21 points ago +21 / -0

Anyone who still thinks this is about GOP vs Dems has lost the plot, or never found it in the first place.

11
NECC_EOD 11 points ago +12 / -1

It's populism vs establishment..Both left and right wing are both establishment and populists... It's a race, whoever gains the reigns of power wins, the establishment will fall, it's inevitable at this point, it's a matter of whom takes the prize the AOC style socialist brand of populism, or the free market MAGA side...

It’s not two parties fighting over different ideologies.

It’s one group of corrupt kleptocrats, stealing the country and selling it away to line their own pockets. There are true believers in there, but more on the left than the right.

8
COanon 8 points ago +8 / -0

I have always said there is no difference between demoncraps and repukicans. If you are not an honest patriot, then you are nothing more than a corrupt individual. 98% of the House, Senate and the Congress are made up of corrupt individuals. The deep state will not let you win an election honestly if they felt you could not be corrupted or blackmailed. That is until most of us woke up during the 2016 election and elected Donald J. Trump to address the cesspool of corruption that we called 'our government'. Burn down their diseased corrupt temple! It will be biblical.

Dominion went widespread under Clinton, Bush, and Obama. The party lines are irrelevant all 3 of them are friends and none of them care about the constitution or fair elections. If they did why would we have Dominon today? There is no way one party could implement fake elections, it has to be both parties working together.

Hasatan, from the hebrew, the opposer, the accuser, Requires self deception of his minions, and that is the basis of what we need to know to be victorious. When you see talking heads giving "communist" talking points, know they are recorded NPC's that exist just to get in your way, so do not show any emotion to them especially anger, decide when they are identified that they will get none of that anger they feast so heartily from. I think the house has less globalist than the Senate. Senators are locked in for 6 years whereas House Reps are campaigning every 2 years and need to stay straighter due to term constraints.

If the Biden coup goes through, we need to swear off of voting, seriously. It's an important step in withdrawing our recognition from this third-world sham of an election process.

I always wondered how people with such bad ratings kept being reelected. Here in Canada they put their big names in specific counties they know will always vote the same party, so for example if my PM is liberal he is also a REP and the party chose him a specfic county that will always vote liberal, to make sure he keeps his county. They put their top establishment guys in these always liberal counties like pions on a chessboard. That's how it works.

But in the US... you had machines switching votes.
