I just know it was right around the same time the Atlantic dropped the story. I assumed it was to jump ahead of the narrative before the clip went viral.

I came from a military family, I have friends and family members that are still active, I now work in defense. Out of all those dozens of military members and veterans I know personally, exactly 0 of them are liberal.

I'm not in the military, but it's hard to imagine that somebody who treated the military so well (constantly said positive things about them, increasing funding, dramatically improving and prioritizing the VA, as well as NOT GETTING INTO UNNECESSARY WARS) did anything but dominate among service members.
