I have heard mixed reviews about Pence's authority to select electors.

He just says "fuck it" and picks the Trump delegate counts.

What can Dems do?

Go to court, Supreme Court, or just accept which we know won't happen.

Trump FINALLY gets his day to show the truckloads of overwhelming evidence that SCOTUS can't deny.

Could help explain Lin Wood's sudden ramp up of attacks on Roberts.

Personally I do not believe the plan was EVER to have pence simply say " I choose this slate , i win!" The optics of that would be horrendous. But if house and senate objects prior. Then pence says "their is too much litigation regarding the electors for me to certify either slate" then it goes to house delegations

Yeah, but no way the house selects Trump folks.

Most of what I have heard on this repeatedly brings up the house delegates and there is no way the house supports Trump regardless of evidence.

Yet Trump team seems so certain they will prevail putting full bore reputations on the line for it.

Even if Pence gets house vote against Trump what if he says in good conscience I cannot accept due to evidence?

Then their day in court comes along.

In a House contingency election, the House votes, but each state has just one vote. Repubs are in the high twenties for state delegations, and there seems to be a great deal of enthusiasm for supporting Trump in the House right now, so he would likely win. But a House contingency election happens only if there is a tie or three way race preventing a majority of the EC votes cast. The thinking is that if the contested states votes are thrown out by Pence then the race would be decided by a majority of the remaining votes, giving Trump a 232-222 victory.

In that event, expect an immediate movement for impeachment from the House, followed by a trial in the Senate. It is there that all the evidence of voter fraud and manipulation could finally be brought out. If 67 or more Senators remain unconvinced, Trump and Pence are out and Pelosi is the first woman President.

But I dont believe that is the plan. I think they intend to present the blockbuster evidence on the 6th in the joint session believing that it is so compelling that a majority of Senators and Congressfolk will vote to reject those states electors without Pence doing it. The evidence will also go out to the American people and the crowd of Trump supporters at the same time so it cannot be ignored. What is this overwhelming evidence? We will see in four days.
