Personally, I think just the opposite would happen. As soon as he's out of office, he'll go back to being a media favorite just like he was before going down the escalator. Once he's out of power, he'll no longer be a threat. Just a guess on my part, based on the usual media hypocrisy. But, hopefully they'll just keep on hating him since he'll be in office for 4 more years!
