His lies do bring up an interesting point: before compromising with someone, learn their first principles. There's no value in meeting someone halfway if his true goal is the total annihilation of something you hold dear.

You shouldn't care what the radical leftist thinks about the economy because he wants to completely destroy it, and any "compromises" he offers up will only be to move all of us further towards that goal. Better to give him not even an inch, to trigger the inevitable conflict as soon as possible, with a person who will never coexist with your way of life.
