The insurrection act should have been deployed already
This message should be stickied. The whole point of the declaration of independence is to justify why it is necessary to overthrow corrupt governments. The bill of rights was added to ensure this act was always possible. Failing to do so would sorely disappoint our founding fathers. If we don't act on the 6th then future generations will look back and call us a bunch of pussies.
Your point about the word DUTY should be stickied. The only time this word was used in the declaration of independence was when referring to people overthrowing corrupt governments. I.e., the founding fathers gave us one command, which is when the republic becomes fucked up, we have an obligation to overthrow the government and establish a new fair effective government. They knew this was bound to happen, hence they explicitly gave us the written instructions to solve the problem. We owe it to our forefathers and future generations to do what is just and right.
This is what I try to explain to people who claim they are ready to fight but won't "until POTUS gives the word."
But the people are to scared of the repercussions.
