Thank you for sharing this, I appreciate reading it, and I have found the same. Fortunately for myself I have given up trying to change viewpoints, but I haven't given up showing them the hypocritical viewpoints they have. Unfortunately, you will never change their mind, that has more to do with being in too deep and being unwilling to create a tunnel out, because once they start that journey, they may not like who they are on the other side, or who the people they left behind are when they reach their destination.
Its best to just let them believe whatever they want, and tell yourself that friendships, relationships and family goes two ways. They can either understand the logic, understand the reasoning, and be with you, or they can get out of your way when you take that leap. If you fall, either they will fall with you, or they will bury you wishing they weren't alone.
The founders once said, "A house divided can not stand.", well here we are, more than divided. The people are divided by its ruling class, the government elites, and the last thing that we want to do is revolt. The one and only tool left at our disposal is to revolt, water that tree of freedom with the blood of tyrants and traitors, and hopefully grow that tree into a new nation of patriots.
One can only hope that after we cross that line, that we ourselves are successful, and push forward a nation of beliefs that it once stood for. Truth, Justice, Peace, Fairness, Equality, Cooperation. and Progress. If we fail, and whatever deity that you call to watch over all of us that we dont, hopefully our failure is a siren for the remainder of those that didnt hear it the first time, to wake up, take up arms, and fight back.
