...and said he wouldn't be attending my son's 9th birthday because of his covid fear.

Apparently it can make your balls disappear and turn you into a pussy!

Don't take covid lightly, it can break up families and turn you into a flaming retard.

P.s. I told him to turn off the news and to check if he still had balls.

MIL decided to stay out of Christmas this year. She's old and not in the best of health so there's a real chance she won't see another. Quite sad.

Hey, her choice. Thats cool. I got no problem with somebody isolating themselves. Just don't tell me what to do. I ain't staying home and I ain't wearing a mask. If you don't want to be around my germs, you stay home.

Yeah, it's not personally affecting me and I'm not going to judge her but we share family. My parents are long gone and it's just sad to watch, you know?

yes, Ive had similar experiences. I think Im getting used to it, though. It's kind of like its creating 2 teams: one is - im scared im going to die so im staying away from other people and the other is- im living my life while I stay smart, stay healthy, get rest. The former is risky because it can get you in a state of depression being isolated from loved ones. We are social beings. It goes aainst our grain to be alone all the time. We are continually updating our relationships and something inside us breaks down when we aren't doing this.
