Not that he doesn’t adore his grandchild- but parties are hard sometimes, especially for older people, who I swear- become much more sensitive to sounds as they age.
(I don’t have grandkids, but I do have 4 great kids aged 10-30- and I’ve seen the progression the sounds, chaos, & social settings takes on older people)
