But that's literally not how directed HEL's, high energy lasers, work. They don't burn holes in things like sci-fi hollywood. They just get electronics and antenna hot to overload and fry them due to resonant frequencies. Your wood roof is not going to be effected by a HEL; shit humans body make-up isn't even affected. This is simple physics. And last I checked we can't make plasma fly through the air yet so I don't think holes are getting burned in roofs by anybody in drones.
