That was probably the plan. Too many Uncle Tom's were making it off the plantation, empowering the race as a whole. 1990s were peak actual black power then we moved to affirmative action for an entire generation and got this. We're going to have to move back to merit based and just let black communities go through the growing pains again.
People will only ever be as good as they have to be. The more a person suffers without breaking, the better they end up afterwards. Just look at us pedes right now. Jan 6th will be wildest night of our lives.
the reason so many of us walk away and say screw it is because black democrat males try to constantly undermine other black men and the ungrateful mean black female dems are never satisfied and don’t think they have to actually pay for services.
I used to do a lot of charity-work but gave it up for much the same reasons. It was very difficult to talk homeless people into going to a shelter (even in the worst of weather) because they would rather live on the street than follow the basic common-sense rules required to stay there. (No drug/alcohol use/possession, no guests hanging out due to the possibility of bringing in contraband, a reasonable curfew, etc.) This shelter helped provide employment and doctor visits, still I had little luck getting anyone to consider going there.
Going into it I knew I didn't need to meet or spend much time around the homeless people I was trying to help, or they would change my mind. And they did. Despite the shelter's best of intentions, predictable issues of thug-behavior/violence/refusal to work and/or follow house-rules were frequently an issue. Stereotypes come from somewhere: the only one of the shelter residents to be politely appreciative of my efforts was the lone young white kid who soon got a good job and landed on his feet. (The rest were joggers with prison-rules attitudes and aspirations.)
>Interestingly, the local Tolerant Left™ is really into virtue-signaling about this place, even though by law they can only serve a limited number of residents. Having noticed the growing number of homeless people locally, I was trying to help thus my getting involved and visiting the place: I wasn't going to recommend a shelter to someone if I didn't have good knowledge of what they should expect.
There's a lot to be said about how the meritocracy truly fixes a lot of the racism problems... but sadly too many want to burn that which will save them =(
UncIe Tom is literally the hero of that story, too..... It’s true. Sambo is one of the characters that turns on other black folk at the behest of his slave master.
And just like that the wokeness cultist destroyed the businesses of hundreds of black people.

We can't fix people who don't want our help and most don't seem to be interested.
They aren't going to want to change until they need to, and they won't need to until we stop gifting them a free ride. Suffering builds character.
Good work there! <3 <3 <3

👍🏻
Keep up the good work. Those people are crabs.

Affirmative action never helps anyone. It puts people into positions they are not prepared for, setting them up for failure.
That's not to say Black people can't succeed, that's the insidious part. You can't explain it easily without seeming racist.

You are one hundred percent correct, been watching it happen in real time in South Africa as I grew up, I was born in 90.
No, they just lower standards for everyone
Just say that people only ever rise to be as good as expected.
That's pretty race blind. Libs will still cry but just laugh at them so they feel even more insecure. Can't reason with emotional creatures.
"Libs"(they're not real liberals) will cry no matter what. Give them what they want and there will always be the next thing, even worse than the last.
this honestly makes sense to me as to why so many people hated me for being better at things then they were and put me down in school and shit.
they couldnt be having someone with actual merit succeed and fuck up their good thing.
Ding ding ding.

The new Jim Crow! Great job, leftists!
