Welcome to the world of special classes. Walmart has half an isle for "Hispanic food". Lowes has spaces reserved for pregnant moms, and veterans. DFW had/has waived garage parking fees for people with handicapped signs. The list of special/privileged people is never ending. The only one that doesn't get any benefits is whitey. In fact, he gets debits, not credits. White privilege and all...
Point is while I think any BLM is shit, I'm really tired of all the tiered treatment.
No, and I wouldn't think BLM would agree, nor would the pregnant moms, nor the Hispanics. Seniors that get lifetime free passes to all the national parks (because old = poor?). Police officers that get their tags shielded from tolls in their personal vehicles...
None of this means that I'm anti-veteran, or anti-cop. It's just once you start making carveouts for all these special categories/identities, you end up with a system of haves and have-nots.
I don't think you're anti veteran and I think I see your point. Maybe parking spaces wasn't the analogy to go for though.
I do agree that leftists go for the "divide and conquer" strategy on every level no matter how petty and that needs to be called out and stopped. But I'm not sure parking spaces is the place to do that.
i think thats really an issue of the amount of food sold.
You can always find specialty shops to deal in those things, but say, its probably not worth hannaford's money to start up a special "greek food" aisle when it wouldnt cover most sales in the store and probably wouldnt make that much money.
With hispanic food, we have a large population of people who buy it -- of all races. and a significant portion of actual hispanic people in this country.
its really teh same reason you see chinese groceries sometimes as special shops that cater to specific customers and areas where there is a market.
if I opened one in this town, or even added that section to our grocery, nobody would buy it. they might come to point, laugh and stare, but not buy anything.
thus that aisle would be lost money.
however what I do think there might be a market for would be an international buffet with foods from as many nations as possible. that would give people a sort of sampler and let them experience things without it being so risky and they get to see it properly cooked.
the problem there would be expense. youd need lots of real chefs and ingredients so the cost would be insane.
im cool with vets and pregnant moms getting special treatment. they did something to deserve it.
im not okay with uncontrollable, inherent characteristics like race or gender being some sacred status that society must hault for. emphasizing something like race only diminishes individualism and emphasizes what MLK fought against
The close parking is so a heavily pregnant woman doesn't have to walk as far which is very difficult when a baby is pressing down on her cervix. It's like people getting temporary handicap parking stickers to park in handicap parking while they are injured and having a difficult time walking. It's not a "special" privilege... it's a "hey, you have a physical condition that makes it difficult/painful to walk far distances. While you are in this condition you can park closer to the store."
If you have a physical condition that makes walking difficult, then you also could park closer. Has nothing to do with race/gender only a physical condition.

I'm not sure very many veterans are going to agree with you as being in a "privileged" classification LOL.
Or pregnant moms.
Ya letting pregnant moms park upfront is a good thing.
But I see the OP's point even if he could have used more clear-cut examples.

I thought I was preaching to the choir.

i get your point, but "hispanic food" is a specific kind of food
it's not like they went into the frozen pizza section and stuck "for Hispanics" on one of the freezer doors lol
Yeah I'm not following this one, dude's mad that they're labelling the aisles in the grocery section?
Where's the German, italian, or greek food section?

MLK was a womanizing communist.remove his cock from your mouth. He had a nice speech and did nothing more.we overrate him a lot here.
blue pill
getting pregnant isn't something special nor does it make someone deserving of something
