Racism is believing you are superior just because of the color of your skin and treating others badly or "less than" because of the color of their skin. Basically what happens is, Civilization A invents/develops something which elevates Civilization B to a higher level than Civilization A, then after a period of centuries or millennia Civilization B invents/develops something which elevates Civilization C, and the cycle continues. It’s hard to notice in a single lifespan, when your frame of reference is an immediate history of about 200-500 years. Even so, America’s success flies in the face of historical norms primarily because her founding principles reject tribalism, which has been the cause for disaster since the beginning of humanity.
