The disturbing part about all of this, to me, is that I went for decades without seeing race. I mean, obviously you see race when you look at a person, but they were just people and I just interacted with them as I would with any person.

Now, I'm acutely aware of race and have to carefully think through every thing I say and do, so that I don't accidentally commit a "micro aggression". I find myself thinking, "Oh, there's a person of another race, I'm better off, just avoiding him/her altogether, lest I do something wrong."

I went from "not racist" to "extremely racist" in that I'm consciously avoiding people.

Thats the point. It's introducing wedges into the American people to split us up and make us hate each other. The best thing you can do is ignore it and interact with those people anyway. Don't be worried about "micro aggressions" because the vast majority of people are just everyday folk that don't give a damn about that shit, and if you do run into someone that takes offense to you just say "have a nice day' and leave. They aren't worth you time.

Thanks for the insight. I realize that what you're saying is true. We read about this shit every day and it makes us think that it is how everyone thinks, but I agree with you - most are just ordinary folks.

Not "most", but rather the majority. The number of people that actually believe in this extreme leftist BS are only a tiny fraction of the actual population, they're just hooked up to the mega-phone that is social media and they're not afraid to shout their opinions as loud as possible because they know the establishment will protect and shelter them from any potential consequences. To say nothing of genuine foreign actors and paid shills that actively use american social media in order to gas light us.
