I think 1-2 million of us showing up will be enough. If 5 million shows up then it's a quick KO. If 10 million shows up, I expect Pelosi to call for an investigation into election fraud, and then promptly resign afterwards, ha.
Do we? I'm so confused on this. I thought the contested vote just needed a "second" - and then it goes to the state Houses, with the Speaker of each state's House getting 1 vote?
That was one judge in Texas that made the ruling to dismiss the plaintiff's case, but we don't know the full reason why. It was a weird situation where it was a friendly lawsuit but it may have exposed too many worms in the can if you catch my drift.
Not a lawyer but my take on this is that Pence already has constitutional authority and his lawyers didn't want to be responsible for a precedent that allows future VPs to abuse their power. If he/his lawyers believe there will be a country and an office of VP to preserve after January 6th, I believe that is a good sign for us. Again, just my take and I am not a lawyer.
I think there's some confusion (well lots of confusion) on the procedures.
If we strictly go off of the 12th Amendment, Pence doesn't even need any Senators or House members to object to electoral college votes. The VP has the unilateral right to decide which votes to count or to toss out.
The ECA 1887 discusses objections made by the senate and house as another way of nullifying or certifying electoral college votes but since the 12th Amendment is just that, an Amendment, it supersedes any powers/procedures outlined in the ECA of 1887.
Pence may ask for objections as a way of justifying his decisions but he doesn't need to follow the ECA of 1887 if it infringes upon the rights that are granted to him under the 12th Amendment.
The real question is if and how SCOTUS will rule on Pence's tossing out the votes.
My only complaint with this is "..gains momentum..". Mo, 80+ million Americans have been screaming and shouting outloud for the last 2 months, hell...the last 2 decades. It's your job to bring attention to that sooner rather than later.
Wait.....Meadows is not asking the President to Concede today?
Does he now believe Trump will actually win? Did his job offer get pulled for failing hie objective?
This, my friends, is what we call momentum. It is building. You know what politicians care about? (And it's the only thing they care about, make no mistake about it). SELF-PRESERVATION. The more you see fall in line behind our dear President, the more you know his message is winning. If they were sure of a Biden administration later in the month, not ONE would be supporting Trump right now. Not one.

"Challenge accepted." - TDW
Mo Brooks stood alone when others remained in hiding, good for him.
Godspeed Alabama!
We need 218 total for the objections to stand, which means we need some democrats as well.

Any reason why Pence wouldn't do that?

Yea that's what I'm hoping! Pence not trying to show his hand early!

No... That would be if no one gets to 270.

FIGHT FUCKING FIGHT THATS WHAT WE WANT FROM OUR LEADERS -- otherwise, don't be our leaders
They're not our leaders. They're our representatives. There's a difference.
We lead they're supposed to follow the will of the people.

Pray right now for truth to penetrate even the deepest RINO skulls!
Wait. 50 more or 50 total?
Fight for every inch, claw your way in if you must. Lives depend on it, make history!

Optics. This is Art of War tactics. Make yourself look weak to your enemy.
congress gets fixed or congress gets fucked.
