I've been noticing more and more - just going out to try and do things while shopping - you're at the mercy of this techno shit. Waiting in line because some jack ass wants to use their points so the clerk has to punch in shit on the computer and then the computer is bouncing them around so they have to call corporate to get overrides and yadda yadda...

Go to a place that's like fuggen game stop but with baby shit, got to interface with all these tablets, put in your DL# JUST TO SELL SOME BABY CLOTHES AND GET 60 CENTS for about 20 articles of clothing (that was all in good shape, by the way...) and the workers act like they're doing you such a big favor to do that exchange because you're supposed to make an appointment to sell the clothing...

Go grocery shopping, wait in obnoxiously long lines. Store is packed but only 1/4 of the lines are open for check out. Self check out is all fucked too, because everyone's a retard and then the grocers on check out are all like "I don't give a fuck" and take their time. Can't blame them, but you can because of all this minimum wage increases - work how you're getting paid at least. Anyway - back to the techno shit - wait in line and then have a worker try and help someone check out, they take FIFTEEN FUGGEN MINUTES to log in to the kiosk (why the fuck is kiosk a word here these days?) too check them out... Meanwhile everyone is backing up in the line because they were supposed to direct the traffic to the registers but instead were trying to do the right thing to help check more people out. WOW THIS TECHNOLOGY IS REALLY HELPING EVERYTHING OUT!!

It's like they're just leveraging this computer shit as an excuse to provide bad services and skimp out on everything about making the customers happy because fuck, those machines are magic and they just tell me what to do! I don't know why it's slow or just fucked to begin with, but you're here to buy some shit and I don't care about that, I don't want your money, I just want your obedience and yeah the money too, but just so what I tell you because you're my bitch and fuck you and my employees.

Sorry for this comment but it's a mix of rant and just trying to agree with your post on big bad tech. Fuck them, man. Let's just use simple tech - no full blown computers with their bullshit OS to try and subvert you - simple tech like a CASH REGISTER to do transactions right then and there. I see two big problems. First, we need to set copyright to zero. The copyright cartels are unanimously our enemy and the stories about how copyright help small time creators is bullshit. Second, stock financing. All this printed up money flooding into the system is going into their stock valuations, and causing them to be completely disconnected from the real world. It's completely gone to their head. This needs to be cut off.
