The term has been intentionally twisted over the years so that most people that read "equal", no matter if it's in quotes or not, thinks it means "the same." I'm an engineer, I made it to fairly high management role. I found work fun (as did most of my mostly male contemporaries), but I would say most of my growth was realized when my youngest son got flesh eating disease. It threw my life upside down and I had to grow in ways that I never consider.

The way we're trending to now is the way things used to be before we had a society, where the majority of men had no partners and thus had no interest in helping to provide for society and the horrible way we're treated. The term has been intentionally twisted over the years so that most people that read "equal", no matter if it's in quotes or not, thinks it means "the same." That's why I have to make my response as strict as possible because it's the only way that people start understanding how ridiculous it is. You shouldn't treat a 10 year old equally to a 40 year old, but that's the stance I have to take because it's the only way it's gets through some particularly thick skulls that think you should because they've been fed propaganda for decades.

I am a woman and I generally do not like other women, especially in the workplace. Not unstable at all. I know how to play the game and get along with them, but I have to always question the motives and truthfulness of the women I work with. I'm an engineer, I made it to fairly high management role. I found work fun (as did most of my mostly male contemporaries), but I would say most of my growth was realized when my youngest son got flesh eating disease. It threw my life upside down and I had to grow in ways that I never consider.

It's easier to describe in one word. Hypergamy. Women have a biological drive to always move "up", as "up" means resources, status, and (hopefully) better mates to produce stronger children.
The way we're trending to now is the way things used to be before we had a society, where the majority of men had no partners and thus had no interest in helping to provide for society and the horrible way we're treated.
