The speaker would be president true, but I think she may not be speaker much longer. Have a feeling her own party may oust her. They've faired really poorly under her stewardship.
I don’t read it this way. Read the 12th and 20th amendments. The 20th amendment gave the right to congress to make the law saying what happens if there is no president or president elect selected. They have never taken up the issue.
They would have to pass an emergency law (which Trump would have to sign) saying what would happen. Basically they let Trump remain president until it’s worked out or he refuses to sign anything else and we have a constitutional crisis. Remember only a super majority can override a veto. If they had a super majority against Trump in favor of pelosi then Biden will have long been certified.

Correct, but that's if the House is delayed for whatever reason, but the Senate is not. With as many House members as there are, it wouldn't be shocking.
