Yes if you read the Electoral Count Act, objections and debates happen on votes, not on states. So there are potentially 1,076 hours of debate possible.
I don't think witnesses can be brought in. Sens and Reps could read statements though. Time for Bobby Pitton to go into great detail on his work in a whitepaper and hand it out to Congress.
terrible strategy. Bad precedent to set. This is a tricky situation because its not only about winning. Its about winning without upsetting precedent that would allow DEMS to do worse things when they have power. Very tough situation indeed. I'm glad Trump is in charged of the strategy (most strats I hear are terrible)
I'm inclined to believe whatever is most in line with Alex Jones' 72 days of Hell theory. I'm not sure exactly what will happen on the 6th, but it seems likely to take another couple weeks before it resolves.
Look, if there's some nerd shit that needs done and they have an opening on the team. Sign Ronnie boy up. Otherwise, this dude needs to STFU. He was helpful early on. Now he's just trying to stay relevant.
When is the vote scheduled? At this point I don't think they have enough contested states to get more than 8 hours out of it. Maybe 10. It's not 2 hours per elector. It's per slate of electors that are objected against. If it was per elector it would be months of 12 hour sessions.
The US code A3.15 says vote or votes, and is specifically talking about one state. ( No other state can be counted until the objections have been deliberated on).
Pretty sure its unconstitutional anyway, as the constitution doesnt say anything about objections, only that the president of the senate is in charge of opening and counting every vote. It mentions nothing about governors or secretaries of state, and unleas I'm missing something, pence is constitutionally bound to read all the votes, including both sets from contested states. Trump wins with majority, no objections needed.
Nowhere does it or could it say 270 is the magic mark to cross
Yeah, look at all the RINO's that joined to overturn the veto!
I agree. It may come down to daddy taking off the belt.
Nah they get paid more by lobbyists as minority members and don't have to do as much work. Why would you want to be in power? Salary is the same
Agreed.
I trust no one but Trump at this point.
Trump and The People.
The state reps in these states must feel our wrath. By any means necessaryz
I thought it was only two hours for each contested state? Is he suggesting two hours for one elector vote?

Let's get it done.
Too bad it's not 1776. Would be much more patriotic.
Playing the long game. Could happen.

Buckle up, y'all.
79 days of hell was a dem plan after Trump was named winner. They wanted the UN to occupy the US.
this isn't Codemonkey's idea; it's from the Hill about a month ago...
It's not about the vote, it's about the TREASON.
I really don't like that people throw out ideas like this in the public square which allow time for countermeasures to be thought up.

1pm it starts I believe.
