I just checked and hotels are still bookable. I live here and haven’t heard anything about restaurant/grocery store closures, etc.

Regardless, look to form a contingency plan. Stay right outside of DC, in Alexandria VA if possible.

Organize a logistics team to supply food/water/etc as needed.

Make use of Amazon drop off/locker points just outside the DC city limits. You can order supplies if needed, some will even have same day delivery.

Wasn't this proven as fake news? I may be wrong... I mean the "bring supplies" thing is kind of a no brainer anyway.

All I can find is a reference in USA today about an order she signed on Dec 18 closing indoor dining. Nothing about grocery or convenience stores.

But think about it. DC has over 600k people. Shutting down places that sell food isn't a good idea.

It would be a shame, if her office got thrashed. 🤷🏻‍♂️
