Over the course of 2020, the wife and I knocked out our years worth of bills by June and put away the money we needed to cover 2021 by October. We also said fuck it to the lockdowns and went to the beach a lot (which was pretty much always empty because everyone was afraid to leave their homes). Because I was working from home, we decided to take long breaks during the day when there was downtime and go on nice walks as well as sit in our local park. It really helped us stay sane. It was also entertaining seeing the scared folks panic when a husband and wife were wandering around outside and happy without masks on while they were sitting in their windowed jail cell they call home. Pretty good year for us.

Plus, watching the idiots spend their stimulus checks on crap (Animal Crossing, Weed, hair dye) and then panic when they had no money to their name was pretty fucking funny.
